Magicneering™ is a grassroots organization for family arts, entertainment and education. Started nearly 10 years ago on the Internet, in 1999, by world renowned author, Magic poet and founder Mark Magic Eberra M.A., Today Magicneering has become a global cultural phenomenon that has brought together children and families to Celebrate the Magic of Living, Laughing, and Loving Life. When people hear the name Magicneering™ they naturally think of Debbie the Laughing Dolphin, who so well reflects our motto of Living, Laughing, and Loving Life. Indeed, all the Magic Buddies™ characters create smiles, and laughter for families, and children of all ages. However, Magicneering™ is unique in that we do more than just provide Magic characters for family arts & entertainment. Magicneering™ actually helps people, especially kids and families aspire to be their best self, believe in their dreams, and in so doing brings a little Magic to the world, at a time when we truly need it. What follows is the history of the growth of our ideas, ideals, hopes and dreams.

It all began in the spring of 1998, when Shayla and Angel Lewis asked their Uncle Mark to join them in a summer poetry writing contest. The goal was to write 40 poems and the girls had already begun in earnest. Inspired by their child like exuberance and enthusiasm Mark joined the adventure with his nieces and wrote his first poem. Soon what began as a single Magic poem developed into a humanitarian idea to help people of all ages remember the Magic of their inner child, and have more fun and happiness in life.

Encouraged by his friend Trish to share his Magic poetry with the world, Mark created an email newsletter and official web site, then began to send out poems to all who needed some inspiration in their lives. Mark was soon given the nick name, Magic Mark by the readers of his work.

To keep in touch with the growing number of subscribers to his Magic poetry newsletters, Magic Mark set up an online group called Magicneering Clubs International whose members adopted the name Magicneers.

This was followed by the publication of two books in 2001 titled Magicneering™ Living, Laughing & Loving Life books I and II. The poetry and stories have inspired millions world wide to believe in their dreams and use those dreams to help others, while ultimately making the world a happier, healthier, place.

On May 1st, 2002 , Mark Magic Eberra helped make history by creating and sponsoring an international event known as the Magicneering™ Celebrate the Magic day™ when a reported 1 million children and families sang an inspirational song at the same time to promote peace, love, and happiness through the Magic of children. Celebrations were reported being broadcast on television news networks around the globe including CBS, NBC, PAX, and CNN. Magicneering™ Clubs were then formed in 30 countries and growing.

Beginning in June of 2002, Magic Mark added a new dimension to the art of Magicneering™ by creating the Magic Buddies™ animated Characters, lead by Debbie the Laughing dolphin©, the official mascot of Magicneering™. Born from the colorful imagery and themes of the Magicneering™ Magic poetry, the Magic Buddies™ help to teach the Seven Magic ingredients of children, which make use of the Infinite Imagination, Endless Faith and Creative Expression everyone can use to live their dreams and help others. Drawn delightfully childlike with their colorful imagery, Golden Optimism, and unbeatable spirit, the Magic Buddies™ appealed to kids from ages 1 to 101!

In 2003, as a follow up to Celebrate the Magic Day™, Magicneers, members of Magicneering™ Clubs International, volunteered to help children by reading Magic Poetry, and teaching them to use their imaginations and creativity to make their dreams come true, as part of the Magicneering™ Share the Magic Campaign. Everyday Magicneers shared the Magic of living, laughing, & loving life in a wide variety of creative community service projects and simple acts of kindness, and goodwill.

Later in 2003, the distinction of Magicneer of the Month, was created to honor the Magicneers for their dedication to living the Magic, shining example of maintaining the heart of a child, and helping others in the Magicneering™ spirit of Living, Laughing, & Loving Life! Each honoree was inducted as a true humanitarian active in a wide variety of charity and community service projects, such as helping children, animals, taking care of the planet, and naturally demonstrating the Seven Magical Ingredients of children, that every man, woman and child is born with.

In 2004, Magicneering marked it's seventh year as an inspiring and life enriching source of wholesome family arts, entertainment, and education by honoring Magical Families that had kept alive the tradition of sharing Magic with the world and passing it on to the next generation.

After witnessing lives Magically transformed, seeing the smiles, and happiness on the faces of so many children and adults Magic Mark knew the world would greatly benefit from the inspiring stories of the Magical kids and families of Magicneering and asked the television networks in the USA to produce programming featuring the Magicneers. Yet every broadcast network turned him down. It seemed the traditional television networks were more interested in broadcasting negative images and violence than programming on peace, love and happiness. Faced with the lack of interest from traditional media, Magic Mark turned what was initially frustration into brilliant innovation and began what would be a 5 year journey of designing the Magicneering™ Television Network.

Real kids and families would help produce and star in all the programs featuring their inspiring stories that light the world. All broadcast on global television on the Magicneering TV Network.

As Magicneering™ celebrates it's 10 year anniversary, that dream is still becoming a reality as the families of Magicneering™, are set to star in the shows on what will be the Magicneering Television Network! Today Mark Magic Eberra and all the Magicneers continue painting a living legacy of peace, love, and happiness that will inspire generations to come.
